Tehran to host 2013 International Qur
Irans 21st edition of International Holy Quran Exhibition is to kick off at the Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Grounds in the capital city of Tehran.
The exhibition is programmed to start its activity during an opening ceremony that will be held on July 5, 2013, Mehr News Agency reported.

The outgoing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to attend the opening ceremony and the President-elect Hassan Rohani will be at the closing gala, said Irans Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini.

The event is to host numerous exquisite Quranic works from 30 countries that will be either presented by the individuals or will be offered by the organizations from the applicant countries.

Some 50 Quranic products will be also unveiled at the years exhibition that is to focus on the theme of Quranic lifestyle.

Different topics including Quran and economy, Quran and sociology and Quran and human sciences will be discussed in several sessions during the exhibition.

The visitors will also enjoy the events various sections such as children, young adults, family, recitations and memorizations, research, education and translation.

Irans international Quran exhibition which is annually held during the blessed month of Ramadan, aims at stimulating development and promotion in concepts of the holy Quran.

The last years exhibition took place under the title of Quran, Culture of Awakening and dedicated a section to the Islamic Awakening, displayed the social atmosphere and street events of five Arab countries of Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Bahrain and Palestine.

Irans 21st International Holy Quran Exhibition will be continued for about one month.
